The following questions will allow you to establish the level of membership you are able to join the ECA.

To join as a full member, there are a number of criteria that need to be met, if you do not meet all the following criteria then a page will be displayed showing you which areas might need further discussion.

Should you not be able to meet the current criteria then you should be able to join as a Registered Associate.

Does your turn over exceed £30k

Has your company been undertaking electrical work for more than 12 months:

Have you got Public & Employers liability insurance of £2m or more

Are you a sole trader If not, how many electrical employees do you employ

Are you providing electrical certification for the work that you undertake signed by a Competent Person

Do you have access to test equipment associated to the type of work you undertake

Do you have a formal set of accounts

Are you technically inspected by any other Body if so by whom

Which sectors are your core business interests
