How to apply

If you are a contracting company — whether as a sole trader, partnership or employing electrical staff — and have been trading for more than a year with a turnover greater than £30,000, you are likely to be eligible for membership.

There are two ways of applying for membership:

  • Fill out the online enquiry: the online enquiry is a quick and easy questionnaire to determine whether your company meets the basic criteria for membership. It will automatically offer alternative options.
  • Email the ECA's Membership Department: you can email the department directly at membership@eca.co.uk and a representative from one of the ECA's regional offices will contact you to discuss your application and the benefits of membership.
