This government-supported scheme helps the public find reliable and competent firms to carry out improvements and repairs in domestic environments; and the ECA is now a licensed TrustMark operator.

Part P of the Building Regulations

Part P, was introduced by government to reduce the number of unsafe domestic installations carried out in the UK. BRE Certification, in partnership with ECA, provides a competent person scheme for firms and contractors wishing to self-certify their work.

Part L of the Building Regulations

Part L has been introduced by the government to reduce greenhouse gas emissions as part of their strategy to address global warming. The ECA provides an Electrical Energy Efficiency Scheme for firms that carry out work in non-domestic environments.
