Daywork Rates

The Standard Hourly Base Rate or daywork rate for use when claiming daywork is agreed by ECA, SELECT and RICS. There are standard hourly base rates for the various grades of electrician, apprentice and trainees. One set of rates is applicable to work carried out nationally and the other for work carried out in London. The Standard Hourly Base Rate is based on the single wage rate for job employed/own transport. The year on year rate shows an approximate 4.5% increase.
