ECA Debt Recovery Service

Effective Credit Collections Limited operates the ECA Debt Recovery Service for ECA registered and sector members and it often transpires that formal correspondence from a third party like Effective gets the desired result from a debtor.

Effective sends out a "letter before action" free of charge to members as the cost is picked up by the ECA. 

If there is no response to this letter, Effective will advise on the options available to the member. Should the member instruct Effective to continue acting on their behalf, then the member will be responsible for the costs and fees incurred.

If the matter is disputed or defended, the member will be advised by Effective that they may refer such matters to a solicitor of their own choosing or have one recommended by Effective.
