• Standard death benefit of £17,000 from any cause.
• In the event of death occurring as a result of an accident at work an extra £50,000 is paid, in addition to the standard death benefit of £17,000 with effect from January 2005. This could increase the total benefit to £67,000. Any accidental death when travelling to and from work will attract an additional £12,500 to the standard death benefit of £17,000.
