ECA Staff Private Medical Insurance Scheme through BUPA

The ECA Staff BUPA Scheme is open to all managerial, technical, supervisory, administrative and clerical staff employees.

• No prior medical history is required
• Cover is based on BUPA Premier Network
• No excess is payable
• If a member participates in the scheme, it must be on the basis of all eligible staff rather than a selected few.
• There is no maximum age limit for continued participation, but there are separate premiums for active or retired participants on reaching 65 years of age.
• Options exist to extend cover for the partner/spouse and children.
• A dedicated helpline is available to assist in the claims process.

The annual premium for 2008 is £415 (for persons up to 65). Staff working after 65 the annual premium is £1,075 and retired persons premium is £2150. All rates are inclusive of IPT. Pro rata premiums will apply - if joining mid year.
