British Red Cross provides first aid training to all those wishing to qualify as the First Aider in the Workplace, as approved by the Health & Safety Executive (First Aid) Regulations 1981.

ECA members can benefit from discounted rates for open-access and in-house first aid training across the UK and Northern Ireland.

How to book

To book a place on any of the listed open-access courses, please follow the following steps:

Identify an appropriate venue from the list above
Contact the British Red Cross Customer Service Centre, quoting your ECA Membership number, to check dates and availability
Print and complete the course booking form
Email / fax your completed booking form to the Customer Service Centre
Wait for a letter confirming your place on the course, with a map and directions to the training venue

For companies that have UK-wide Health & Safety First Aid Training requirements, those that would like to arrange in-house training, or those that require a Health & Safety First Aid Training Course not highlighted, please contact the Customer Service Centre quoting your ECA membership number to discuss your requirements
