The Electrical Contractors’ Insurance Company Limited (ECIC), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Association, was formed in 1976 and provides specialist insurances at competitive terms for electrical/mechanical contracting and allied industries.
What does ECIC do?
The company underwrites employers’ and public liability, professional indemnity, contractors’ all risks, property and business interruption insurances for a broad spectrum of professional building services contractors, such as electrical, air conditioning contractors, NFRC roofing contractors and lift engineers.
The ECIC works closely with professional insurance intermediaries and construction businesses of all sizes. In addition, its specialist bond unit provides a full range of surety bonds.
ECIC also provides affinity group guarantee and warranty schemes for the ECA and other leading trade associations.
