ECS Card Scheme
ECS is the skills certification card scheme for individuals working as electricians or in occupations within the wider electrotechnical industry. It is also a CSCS Partner Scheme.
ECS Health & Safety Assessments
ECS Health, Safety & Environmental Assessments are available online. Alternatively, tests can be undertaken at a test centre.
Training Courses
Certsure (a joint venture from ECA and Electrical Safety First) runs an extensive programme of UK-wide short courses for ECA Members, and registrants of NICEIC. The Certsure online training prospectus offers a huge range of short courses and industry recognised qualifications in a range of areas.
TESP
The Electrotechnical Skills Partnership (TESP) is a not-for-profit skills partnership created by ECA, Joint Industry Board (JIB), National Electrotechnical Training (NET), SELECT and Unite the Union. TESP was formed in 2014 to provide a focal point for representing the skills and training issues of employers across the industry to government and key stakeholders and delivering projects with a strategic value for the industry.

The Electrical Careers website has been created by the electrical industry to help you to make informed choices about your training and career progression.
On the site, you’ll find information on the industry, the opportunities and importantly the correct training routes you should follow.
