Employee Relations

The ECA works with industry partners and government to work to ensure the labour market meets the needs of our member-firms. In light of the recent EU referendum result, the ECA will be closely monitoring the potential impact on the workforce and the ability of businesses to hire operatives.

Along with Unite the Union, the ECA also runs the Joint Industry Board, which oversees wage negotiations within the electrical contracting industry. A four–year pay deal was recently agreed, bringing stability to the sector. Click here for more details on this pay deal.
