How to find us:

Travelling by the M.1 from the South

• Just past Leicester Forest East Services, take the JUNCTION 21A – signposted ‘A.46 Newark’
• This is a dual carriageway and termed Leicester Western Bypass.
After approx. 6 miles take LEFT EXIT – signposted ‘A.6 Loughborough’ (local signpost ‘Wanlip’)
• TURN LEFT on to A.6 at island. This is also a dual carriageway.
• Follow for 3 miles until you reach an island (with black & white bricks as direction chevrons).
• Ignore all earlier signs for Mountsorrel.
• TURN LEFT at island – signposed ‘Quorn / Quarry’
• After ¼ mile there is another island (Budgens Supermarket on left)
• TURN LEFT - Charnwood House is the white building adjacent to the island on your right

Travelling by the M.1 from the North (or above Junction 21A from the South)

• Exit at JUNCTION 23 – take the A.512 towards LOUGHBOROUGH
• In ¼ mile at traffic lights take the FIRST RIGHT TURN (just before 2 garages) – signposted ‘NANPANTAN / WOODHOUSE EAVES’ (this is a B class road
• Just past the entrance to Longcliffe Golf Club you will come to a crossroads (traffic lights) – continue straight over (still signed ‘Woodhouse Eaves’)
• Follow the road – through Charnwood Forest – to its end (approx. 2 miles)
• At the end of this road TURN LEFT on to the B.591 signed at Woodhouse Eaves – past ‘Bulls Head’ on your right.
• In approx. 2½miles (after passing over a railway bridge) you will reach some traffic lights
• TURN RIGHT here (not left – the sign for Mountsorrel on the left is for HGV’s) – this is the old A.6 (no longer numbered). This takes you through the village of QUORN (pass over 5 road humps). Mini roundabout – straight over
• Keep straight on – shortly past the Cemetery (on your right) you will reach an island
• Charnwood House is the white building next to the island on your RIGHT (opposite Budgens Supermarket)

Travelling from Nottingham via A.60 (Loughborough)

• Travel towards LOUGHBOROUGH via A.60
• After passing traffic lights at Remstone Crossroads you will enter the village of HOTON
• After a sharp RIGHT TURN (still on main road) in the village, TURN LEFT – signed ‘BARROW-UPON-SOAR B.675’
• Follow that road through until you reach the outskirts of Barrow-upon-Soar. Over the mini-island, through the village (past shops and speed humps) you will reach an island
• TURN RIGHT at the island, down a dip, then over traffic lights, which takes you over the River Soar
• Shortly after passing the river you will reach another island
• TURN LEFT at this island on to the new A.6 Loughborough to Leicester road (dual carriageway)
• In approx. 1 mile you will reach another island (with black & white bricks)
• TURN RIGHT here – signed ‘MOUNTSORREL / QUORN’. This is a short ‘spur’ road off the A.6.
• In a ¼ mile you will reach another island (Budgens Supermarket on left)
• TURN LEFT - Charnwood House is the white building adjacent to the island

Via A.46 Newark – Traveling Southwards (to Leicester)

• Take exit off the A.46 (dual carriageway) opposite hotel (mock Tudor black/white building)
• This will be signed B.676 ‘Loughborough / Burton-on-the-Wolds’
• TURN LEFT upon joining the B.676 (only a few yards from A.46)
• You will then go under the A.46. TURN LEFT immediately you gave gone under the bridge – signed ‘Seagrave’
• After approx. 4 miles you will enter Barrow-upon-Soar – straight on at roundabout (past Railway Station entrance) to the ‘T’ junction. This is the Sileby/Quorn road
• TURN RIGHT here - FILTER LEFT at roundabout and pass over the River Soar (traffic lights). Shortly after passing the river you will reach another island
• TURN LEFT at this island on to the new A.6 Loughborough to Leicester road (dual carriageway)
• In approx. 1 mile you will reach another island (with black & white bricks)
• TURN RIGHT here – signed ‘Mountsorrel / Quorn’. This is a short “spur” road off the A.6 (Granite Way)
• In ¼ mile you will reach another island (Budgens Supermarket on your left)
• TURN LEFT – Charnwood House is the white building adjacent to the island on your right – car park at rear.

From Leicester

• Take A.6 out of Leicester – signed ‘Loughborough / Derby’
• After traffic lights at Birstall you will enter a dual carriageway which currently leads on to the new A.6 bypass, passing over the new Leicester Western Bypass.
• Upon entering the new bypass ignore all immediate local signs for Mountsorrel
• Continue on the bypass until you reach an island (with black & white bricks)
• TURN LEFT here – local signs ‘Mountsorrel / Quarry / LCC Site’ - this is a short “spur” road leading to the Redland Quarry
• In ¼ mile you will reach another island (Budgens Supermarket on your left)
• TURN LEFT - Charnwood House is the white building adjacent to the island
