Registered Apprentices receive the following benefits at no additional cost to the employer if the apprentices are registered with the JIB and the employer is a member of the JIB and participating in the JIB Combined Benefits Credit scheme:
- Permanent & Total Disability - cover is £7,500.
- Death Benefit - Standard death benefit from any cause is £7,500.
- Accidental Death Benefit - In the event of the death occurring as a result of an accident at work, an extra £17,500 is paid, in addition to the standard death benefit of £7,500. This could increase the total benefit to £25,000. Any accidental death when travelling to and from work will attract an additional £6,250.
