Day one provides each student with a clear, concise introduction to the component parts of a Building Energy Management System. This includes a commentary on some of the acronyms and vernacular used by controls engineers.
Day two brings it all together, the slides navigate a building HVAC system with controls applications. Returning to the Energy Managers office looking at supervisor software, communications protocol and man machine interfaces.
Finally, an appreciation of how BEMS are installed by controls electricians, networked and integrated by controls engineers and an overview of the route to market in the UK.
