New ECA Technical Bulletins and Guidance Notes
23 February 2017
To add to the suite of technical guidance available from the ECA we have now launched our new Technical Bulletins and Guidance Notes. Technical Bulletins are designed to offer good advice on specific technical questions received through our technical helpline or via our network of branch and regional meetings. The first of these bulletins tackles a number of recent questions regarding best practice when it comes to wiring accessory replacement.
In addition, our Guidance Notes offer practical advice on priority issues such as changes within standards, additional considerations or to dispel myths created in industry. The first of these Guidance Notes addresses additional considerations when designing an installation with a TT earthing system.
Our Application Guides will continue to offer a more detailed approach to a specific subject that requires cross referencing to a number of standards. All guides are written in an approachable, practitioner style where ECA members and associates can benefit from unrivalled technical support across a whole range of electrotechnical activities.
The first of these guides are available to ECA Members on the technical downloads section.
