Temporary Installations

Temporary electrical systems are deployed daily within exhibition halls, conference halls, theatres hotels and open areas. These are often constructed then deconstructed  to cater for a range of private parties, shows, festivals, exhibitions  and corporate events lasting from a few days up to a few weeks. Temporary electrical systems are also associated with complex applications such as outside television broadcasts and backup generator supplies when installed electrical systems fail or extra capacity is required.

Inviting Temporary Installation Specialists

The risks associated with temporary electrical systems can often be greater due to varying demands, unpredictable weather and unusual loads. This is why the ECA play a pivotal role in proactively working with the wider industry, relevant stakeholders and standard setting organisations with a focus on improving professionalism, creating commercial opportunities for its members and successfully representing the vast array of contractors who manage and install temporary electrical systems.
