ECA launches BAFE fire certification scheme for electrical contractors
ECA Certification Ltd, part of the Electrical Contractors’ Association (ECA) group, can now offer contractors access to the industry leading BAFE SP203 Part 1 certification scheme. This is the widely recognised scheme for contractors designing, installing, commissioning and maintaining fire detection and alarm systems in a move that will boost business opportunities for contractors.

ECA survey shows varying confidence for 2012
The Electrical Contractors' Association’s latest Quarterly Business Trends Survey (QBTS) has revealed that market confidence for 2012 varies significantly across the industry, despite a largely positive end to 2011.
