NICEIC and ECA welcome Select Committee report
NICEIC and the Electrical Contractors’ Association (ECA) have welcomed the Communities and Local Government (CLG) Select Committee report into Building Regulations. After hearing evidence from the electrical contracting industry, Local Authorities and other key stakeholders, the Committee says it cannot support deregulation of the building regulations if electrical safety is compromised.

ECA statement on HVCA withdrawal of BESNA
The Electrical Contractors’ Association (ECA) welcomes the news that the HVCA has terminated its plans to introduce the Building Engineering Services National Agreement (BESNA). Balfour Beatty Engineering Services (BBES) and NG Bailey have also previously confirmed they intend to withdraw from the agreement.
