With just three days to go before Power Players closes to entries (Friday 7 July), now is your last chance to take part in the initiative, or to encourage a colleague to do so.
Power Players has been developed to find and promote exceptional talent within the engineering and electrotechnical services industry. It’s open to anyone aged 39 or below working for any of the following: clients and specifiers, consultants and designers, engineering firms, installers and contractors, manufacturers and distributors, training providers, colleges and universities.
If you or a colleague has made a positive impact in the sector or achieved something special, your work could be recognised in addition to receiving some fantastic prizes – including a business trip of a lifetime to the USA next year, mentoring from business guru Sir John Parker, and an iPad.
It’s extremely easy to enter by following these three simple steps:
First things first, go on to the Power Players website – www.powerplayers.uk.com and select the category most associated with your achievement. The award categories can be found at www.powerplayers.uk.com/categories.
Create a short video – ideally no longer than five minutes – telling us something inspirational that you have achieved. The video can be made using your mobile phone, tablet or any video equipment you may have. Don’t worry if you’re not a video expert, no expertise or editing skills are required.
All the information you need on creating, uploading or emailing your video entry can be found at www.powerplayers.uk.com/enter-now.
Upload your video to the Power Players website, YouTube or email firstname.lastname@example.org and include your contact details (details on uploading videos can be found – here).
That’s all there is to it!
