ECA guidance on Making Tax Digital

From April 2019, companies will be required to file VAT returns digitally if they are a VAT registered business (currently VAT registered equates to having a taxable turnover above the VAT threshold of £85,000).

Companies will also be required to keep accounts and records digitally and use HMRC approved software to make their VAT returns.

ECA has produced guidance to help members with the big switch to digital tax.
