The 4 year electrical installation/maintenance apprenticeship is the most appropriate route for those seeking to become an electrician. The AM2S end assessment is part of this apprenticeship and achievement of this apprenticeship leads to an ECS Gold Card.

Most relevant apprenticeships should refer to AM2S, as well as FESS (Fire, Emergency and Security Systems) Level 3 standard and electrotechnical.
