The ECA is in direct contact with government on business issues that impact the running of electrical and building services firms, such as investment, regulation and productivity. We aim to help members do business more easily, opening up opportunities and saving members time and money.
Boosting investment and productivity
There are many strategic issues that need to be addressed around infrastructure, energy and housing and we are working the government and the National Infrastructure Commission to make the necessary commitments to ensure future prosperity and to establish the UK as an attractive place to invest.

Cutting red tape for SMEs
The ECA works with partners to press government to support SMEs within our sector, especially in relation to reducing unnecessary bureaucracy and red tape, and ensuring a fair taxation regime.
