JIB Employee Benefits

Employee benefits can have a positive effect on company productivity and morale, while health insurance can reduce the impact of sickness absence on the bottom line. What’s more, providing a benefit such as private medical insurance can help with the acquisition and retention of staff, helping employees feel valued and motivated.

The employee benefits scheme is run through the Joint Industry Board (JIB) and as a member of the ECA your business has the option to join the JIB free of charge, giving your business access to the benefits scheme offered.

As part of one of the largest groups of its kind paying into a bespoke benefit scheme, the JIB health cover and personal insurance rates are just £15.50 per employee per week (from 1 January 2022) and 48p per week for apprentices (2021 rates).

The Scheme includes, but is not restricted to, the following:

  • BUPA Private Medical Insurance
  • BUPA Health Screening
  • JIB Sick Pay Cover
  • Death Benefit
  • Accidental Death Benefit
  • Permanent & Total Disability Benefit
  • Employee Assistance Helpline

For more details on the scheme and details on how to join, visit the JIB website.
