This can simply be recorded on a smartphone or tablet. Feel free to be off-the-wall and as creative as you want. You may also want to include a few work colleagues, family members or friends. It’s entirely up to you.

However, we would like the entrant to cover the following areas:

  • About you! Tell us a bit about yourself. Perhaps an interesting or funny fact.
  • Why did you decide to join the electrotechnical industry? What were you doing prior to your apprenticeship?
  • What is the single best thing that you have learnt during your apprenticeship?
  • What do you want to have achieved in 10 years time in your career?
  • Why do you think you would make an excellent ambassador for our industry?
