Reverse Charge VAT delayed to March 2021
05 June 2020
Following sustained lobbying by ECA and other industry bodies, the Treasury has just announced that the introduction of the VAT Reverse Charge will be delayed for a further five months, to 1st March 2021.
ECA and other industry bodies, including FMB, recently sent a letter to Chancellor Rishi Sunak MP which stated: “we request the postponement of reverse charge VAT, due to be implemented in October this year…in recognition of the significant impact that the coronavirus has had on the industry.”
