Fresh new look for TESP website

The Electrotechnical Skills Partnership (TESP) has revealed a completely new and updated design for its website to profile the wide-ranging work it carries out on behalf of the industry.

The TESP is a not-for-profit industry partnership formed by the Electrical Contractors’ Association (ECA), Joint Industry Board (JIB), National Electrotechnical Training (NET), SELECT and Unite the Union to support electrotechnical employers to develop and drive the industry’s skills agenda.

Since being established, TESP has delivered multiple projects and initiatives aimed at promoting sector careers and progression, building a picture of future skills needs, and upholding and improving industry standards.

Alongside the development of industry approved training routes, sector Labour Market Intelligence and the Electrical Careers website, TESP has also worked with industry to launch the Experienced Worker Assessment, aimed at upskilling electrotechnical workers, and the Rogue Trainers campaign which provides advice onto the correct routes into the industry and what to avoid.

In addition, TESP works closely with Government and provides input into many IfATE (Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education) and Department for Education projects, to provide a useful employer and sector voice and assist with policy development.

The website presents information on all this work and provides various ways for industry to get involved.
