The ECA South East Region will be holding a Member Business Conference on 15 June 2023 at Lingfield Park, Surrey.
The theme is future-proofing your business. What do you as an electrical contractor need to focus on to ensure that your business remains healthy, profitable and relevant?
Over our half day Conference, we have a range of informative presentations on net zero opportunities, business resilience and mental health.
Chaired by Andy Hartley, South East Regional Executive Committee Chair with Steve Bratt, Group ECA CEO providing a short industry update, the Conference promises to be a fantastic opportunity to network and learn with other ECA Members.

- The electrical sector is a key player for renewable energy. Luke Osborne, ECA Energy & Emerging Technologies Solutions Advisor will present on technical considerations for installation of solar PV systems.
- Learn how flexible solutions such as energy storage are the key to maximising the use of renewables from Richard Molloy, BDM Distributed Energy Management from Eaton.
- Hear from ECA Member, Chris Wright, Technical Director of Powercor about his company’s portfolio of energy saving projects across schools, major infrastructure sites and local community buildings. His presentation is titled “The Powercor Journey, Energy Saving projects ,Sustainability and Powercor Accelerators in Business growth.”
- Rob Driscoll, ECA Director of Legal and Business will advise on the economic outlook for the remainder of 2023 and discuss optimal positioning your business from a commercial risk perspective.
- Vicki Leslie, ECIS Client Relationship Manager will look at the impact of mental wellbeing, in particular with men who are less likely to seek support with mental health initiatives. The presentation will focus on how businesses can engage and support their workforce with their mental health.
The day will finish with a round up by Sean Smyth, ECA Senior Vice-President.
