ECA (Electrical Contractors’ Association) welcomes the extension of the Government’s plug-in van and truck grant to at least 2027, helping ECA Members to purchase their vehicles which are vital for the work that they do.
ECA has been calling for an improved electric vehicle charging infrastructure for the past three years.
Together with the extension of the grant, it will also provide business and job opportunities for Members who install electric vehicle charging points.
According to industry figures, switching to electric saves businesses more than £2,800 annually on fuel alone. The grants are a part of the government’s Plan for Change.
