ECA’s Legal and Business team has developed new guidance to support Members with the current and upcoming changes to Companies House.
The Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023 introduced a series of reforms and new powers for Companies House, transforming its role from a passive recipient of information to an active gatekeeper over company creation and data. These reforms affect the obligations of all businesses when using Companies House.
ECA Members should make themselves aware of changes relating to ID verification, registered offices, digital filing and small company filing options.
