Version 6 of the Common Assessment Standard (CAS), published by Build UK on 1 November 2026, introduces major updates to pre-qualification requirements across the construction industry.

To assist ECA Members to comply with new requirements a dedicated Common Assessment Standard Version 6 Guidance Document has been compiled, and the CAS Members presentation has been updated.

A number of regional and local events will be taking place in the coming months and throughout 2027 to help Members understand the new CAS and what it means for them.
