Coronavirus: dedicated Member support and representation from ECA

The situation regarding Coronavirus has developed rapidly and it is having a significant impact across our industry, as well as wider society. We are surveying the industry and the initial responses confirm that many businesses are already encountering work delays, site access issues and cancellations.

Many of these challenges will be hugely significant for our industry, and we are actively working with industry bodies and Government to represent the concerns and interests of our Members. Key to this is ensuring Government understands that early and significant measures are needed to help our industry, notably in relation to cashflow and certainty.

ECA has implemented its contingency plan to ensure that effective Member services and representation will continue throughout the current situation. In addition to our vitally important representational activity, all Members have access to expert advice from the ECA team on the commercial, employment and health and safety aspects of coronavirus.

We have created a dedicated web page of advice and information for Members - and also for the wider industry - which can be found at (www.eca.co.uk/coronavirus). This information will be updated by the team on an ongoing basis and we encourage you to check regularly for updates.

We will of course continue to issue news and information to Members, as the situation develops.

I hope that this is of help during these difficult and uncertain times and I encourage you to visit our dedicated web page, and to seek our support wherever needed.
