ECA’s energy and emerging technologies solutions advisor Luke Osborne will be tackling the Inca Trail in Peru to raise funds for the Electrical Industries Charity (EIC).
Initially scheduled for 2021 but now postponed to September 2022, Luke will take on the gruelling challenge which will see him trek through the Peruvian Andes exploring ancient Inca ruins and catching a glimpse of one of the world's wonders, Machu Picchu. The challenge will be no easy feat – Luke will expect up to twelve-hour treks climbing steep inclines all while battling the high altitudes and fatigue.
The EIC was founded 100 years ago to provide help for those in the electrical and energy sector when they need it most. The EIC offer financial support, counselling, guidance and legal advice at no cost to the families and members of the electrical industry.
