Construction giant ISG joins CAS

Global construction firm ISG has joined the growing list of contractors and clients specifying the Common Assessment Standard for their supply chains.

Pre‐qualification (PQ) costs the industry up to £1 billion each year. Rob Scriven, Head of Supply Chain at ISG, has said that implementing the Common Assessment Standard will “remove the burden of administration and eliminate inefficient practices is a win for us all”.

Paul Reeve, ECA Director of CSR and Vice Chair of the Build UK industry group developing the Common Assessment Standard, said, “We recognise the burden of inefficient and excessive pre-qualification. It supports the Common Assessment Standard, which seems well placed to deliver the solution the industry has been looking for since the earliest days of construction prequalification.”
