ECA partners with CWP to celebrate and inspire professionals
ECA is once again partnering with Content With Purpose (CWP) to produce a wide-ranging digital series exploring the transformative journey of electrification in the UK.
With a year marked by record-breaking global temperatures underscoring the urgency of climate action, and with the emergence of a new UK Government, there’s no better time to spotlight this critical issue.
As we move closer towards the new government's target to decarbonise UK power by 2030, electrification stands at the forefront of innovation, reshaping industries, infrastructure, and daily life. Through a blend of inspiring, future-focused content, including short films and interviews, Electrifying our Future will meet the changemakers propelling our clean energy transition across every aspect of modern society, from transport to housing, industry to commerce.
The series will emphasise the paramount importance of safety and the value of collective efforts among industry stakeholders, academia, government bodies, and business. It will explore related advancements in skills development, professional competence, business resilience, and policy and regulation to keep up with the pace of change necessary.
Electrifying our Future will highlight the importance of the electrical sector in devolved nations, and their unique pathways towards an electrified future. It will meet inspiring individuals and organisations driving progress across skills, research, innovation and technology to bolster the UK’s energy security.
Launching in February 2025, the series will be promoted through an extensive digital marketing and communications campaign, with tailored content for specific audiences including ECA Members and the wider electrotechnical sector, built environment professionals, academia, policymakers, young people and the general public.
This marks the next chapter of ECA’s partnership with CWP, following the successful collaboration on Leading the Charge in 2022.
