Over recent years, extensive policy and legislation has been developed by the European Commission, approved by the European Parliament and implemented by the UK Government.

The ECA is directly involved with advocacy in Europe, particularly on technical regulations and standards.

Moving forward, we will continue to work with the Government, our colleagues in EuropeOn (formerly AIE), and the engineering services sector to monitor and influence legislative changes and proposals as necessary.
